Cox Copyright © 1995-2003 All Rights Reserved Sunshine waltzes in the grass and trees ~ and gently showers the world in warmth ~ once its coat is cast and turns the universe to gold; the waterfall intertwines the earth and sky ~ and lingers without regard for my concern of time ~ while its glow envelopes everything wading in its stream. It breaks through barriers, announcing the end of winter and summons the beginner to discover: Nature smiles on days miles don't stand between us; when I've replaced doubt with trust. I have learned to hug the ever~changing wind that comes and goes in stride with the wonder held in friends; some may stay while others need to leave and they return to me a sea of space for the ebb~and~flow of life and people making motion. Some, I know, will rise above the surface; they will cross the ocean to become new friends. Sunshine nourishes intricate vines nurturing growth; the seeds of friendship ~ rooted in gold ~ blanket the world with vast potential. I've reached across the chasm and unearthed touchstones ~ landmarks planted in the past and present ~ and I will keep every one I've held. Life's too precious to toss aside: It all belongs to you and me ~ in the wake of healing... On my way ~ seeing the sun shine another day in a place I feel more satisfied; I am feeling ~ the universe as it turns to gold.
