Write To Tell is a
forum for people who've survived incest/rape and those who've
served as allies in our healing from the trauma of sexual abuse.
Our purpose in publishing a
quarterly forum is to provide a creative outlet for women and
men to exchange thoughts, tips, writings, and resource information
that acknowledges emotional, physicial and financial losses, while
honoring the process of personal growth ~ both the pain and the
pleasure.
Write To Tell is meant
to provide general information, not substitute for therapy or
medical advice of physicians. Readers are encouraged to consult
licensed therapists and/or physicians in matters relating to emotional
and physical health, and particularly in respect to any symptom
that may require diagnosis or psychiatric/medical attention.
The intent of Write To Tell
is not only to facilitate our own healing, but to encourage others,
healing from life's bumps, bruises, and scrapes to embrace and
share the journey.
The publisher, editors and contributors
of Write To Tell assume no responsibility
for readers' thoughts, feelings and/or actions.
"You're
always doing so many nice things! Are you sure you're not an angel
in disguise?" Dolores Miller, School
Uniforms, Scouts & Specialites, Inc., Richboro, Pennsylvania
"Thank
you so much for your extensive and professional review of Sixteen
Voices. It was especially fun for Janice to hear that the
cover has a Southwestern flavor to it. We are so immersed in our
surroundings here that we sometimes forget how it influences our
work. Again, we appreciate your glowing response to our book.
I am pleased that you enjoyed it...." Joe
Mowrey, Mariposa Printing & Publishing
"Thank
you on my behalf for your powerful correspondence with Pamela
from the FMSF. I have had so many doubts because of them [the
FMSF] ~ I don't have any proof at all that I was abused. Keep
on ~ you're wonderful...." T.R., New
York
Founded and launched in 1993 by Anne M. Cox, an adult survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence, Write To Tell is widely recognized and respected by peers and professionals practicing in the areas of psychotherapy, law enforcement, children's advocacy, et cetera, for its solid reputation.
Write To Tell is supported
solely by subscriptions. Requests for a free sample/subscription
will not be fulfilled. The volunteers ~ endeavoring to provide
each issue ~ do not subsidize the publication, and do not request
gratis or free services from our peers/allies. For example: We
can't walk into a store or business and announce, "We're
survivors" or "We work with survivors" and expect
to receive the product or service sought at no cost. Write
To Tell is published four times each year exclusively for
distribution to subscribers.
The publication is written,
published and distributed strictly by volunteers: editors and
contributing writers. Electronic submissions, including text file
attachments, are not opened and/or read for publication
consideration or for futher circulation.
The web pages for Write To Tell have been revised, and a new section of pages has been added; more will be included in upcoming months. Individual contributors to Write To Tell retain the copyrights of their works, and as a result of respecting their work and their rights, the additional pages placed Online will not mirror the depth of the print publication. The objective of reaching out will not be diminished, though, by expanding our work to also be inclusive of survivors and our allies who have access to the Internet.
